Working with nature, not against it

Biosphere Gardens is an ecological garden company in London. We offer maintenance, transformation and regeneration for Londoners who want gardens that restore soil, support pollinators and grow into resilient, self-sustaining ecosystems.

01 · Mission

Reconnecting people with the planet

Our mission is to reconnect people with the planet through ecological gardening that restores soil health, supports pollinators and builds resilient communities.

That work takes three forms: maintenance, transformation and regeneration. Each begins from the same idea. A garden in London can be more than a view from the window. Tended with ecology in mind, it becomes a living system that helps address climate change from the ground up.

A garden, tended well, becomes an ecosystem.

02 · Principles

Three principles, from the soil up

These ideas come straight from our mission. They shape how we think about every garden, whatever its size.

  1. Soil first

Restoring soil health comes first. Living soil underpins everything that grows above it, so ecological care begins below the surface.

  2. Pollinators

Supporting pollinators belongs in every plan. A garden can offer food and shelter to the insects it depends on, and that is worth designing for.

  3. Resilience & community

A resilient, self-sustaining garden asks less and gives more back. Our mission reaches past the fence line too: resilient gardens are part of building resilient communities.

03 · Approach

A considered approach to garden care

How it works, in three steps. The arch fills in as you read, one layer for each step, the way a garden gathers its layers over time.

  1. Step 01

    Listen & observe

Every garden starts with attention: how it is used, what already grows there, and what the soil and the planting need.

  2. Step 02

    Plan with ecology

Whether the work is maintenance, transformation or regeneration, the plan follows the same principles: soil first, pollinators supported, resilience built in.

  3. Step 03

    Establish, care & regenerate

Care continues as the garden establishes, so it can regenerate and become more self-sustaining season by season.
